This week Demon Slayer’s new season was Aired ( Demon Slayer Hashira Training )with its first episode available for public. And I would like to share my honest thoughts with you guys on the this Arc.
Demon Slayer Hashira Training
Introduction-
Well, first things first, I would like to praise the Demon Slayer team for giving us a 40+ min long episode as usual. And I really want to appreciate them for this because 23 minutes is not enough to entertain me as they come with in-between intro, outro, interval, next episode preview, and whatnot.
Now, let’s talk about the anime itself. Various things were happening all over the world, many stories were going on overall, and there was chaos after the swordsmith arc. Be it the relocation of Blacksmith or be it the disturbance among Muzan’s soldiers.
Let me warn you, there will be spoilers here because I will be talking about the episode as a whole.
Episode Recap-
First of all, let’s talk about Nezuko. I mean it really felt good seeing her enjoying her life and learning new words. And my most favorite moment was when Zenitsu was babbling so many things in front of her and then he was hoping for her to call him by his name, and then she says “Inosuke.”
Totally loved it, I really cracked up at that moment. What was your favorite moment in the whole episode? Let me know in the comment section down below.
Now, let’s talk about the serious topic of the episodes. When the two Hashira were chasing the Oni (demon), we witnessed the power to shift the building. First of all, it is as mesmerizing as it could be.
At the same time, it is as scary as you realize that this ability will be used against Demon Slayers, and they have to find out a way to kill this Oni, which seems to be impossible because how can you defeat someone in his own house? And what do you think would have happened if these two Hashira had invaded this place?
Analysis
PowerUp-
In the last season, I thought that the mark which appeared on Muichiro Tokito- Mist Hashira (because I didn’t notice any mark on Mitsuri Kanroji – Love Hashira) was just his own power which he had recently awakened. But to my surprise, this is a power-up that will be received by all the Hashira.
And I want to see how strong Gyomei Himejima is. Because it seems to me that he is totally OP and a totally overpowered character. Despite being blind, every Hashira fears him, with just a clap he makes their spine shiver. In the same way, Muzan makes Upper Moons shiver.
But I think Gyomei Himejima, even after getting the Mark, will not be able to reach Muzan’s level. Most probably, he would be of Upper Moon 1st level. What do you think?
Character Development:
Now, let’s talk about character development, how I think it should be, and why I think it should be the way it should be.
I think these 4 main characters, which are Tanjiro, Nezuko, Zenitsu, and Inosuke, need to get stronger than ever. Especially Nezuko and Tanjiro, they are at the center of everything. Though I think Tanjiro is almost of Hashira level, he is still not enough to take down any upper moon on his own.
Well, looking back at the fights till now in Demon Slayer, there were no solo fights. And in my opinion, this trend would be followed similarly in the future. And we would not see Tanjiro in his overpowered avatar ever.
Nezuko’s ability to withstand the sun is a much-needed ability for upcoming battles. But still, I think this is not enough to support Tanjiro and the other Hashira.
Action and Animation:
I’m expecting the same level of animation from Ufotable, which they have been delivering to us. Even though there was a little bit of action scene in the 1st episode, it was not enough to make a comment.
But overall, the animation looks great till now. What do you think? Was the animation lacking in any way possible that I might have overlooked?
Speculations and Predictions:
I have thought about this many times, what could happen next. Here is one speculation that I came up with. Though it might not sound that appealing, I would still share it with you guys.
I think there could be a possibility that there might be a large-scale invasion of the remaining upper moon to secure Nezuko in order to overcome their only weakness. And this time, the Demon Slayer Corps would be fully prepared for the upcoming battle, and this training will give them a slight edge.
But still, it would not be as easy as the previous time. And the Demon Corps will suffer large damage. Even the sacrifice of a few Hashira would not be a surprise. What do you think of this speculation? Is there any chance this might happen in the future?

The New Characters’ Role:
This time around, the rest of the Hashira would play a significant role in the battle as we have seen what the rest of the Hashira are capable of. But these new Hashira will help Tanjiro and the others to grow so that they can face Muzan.
Conclusion:
Overall, I think this season is going to be OP just like its previous season. I’m expecting the same level or a higher level of animation that we have witnessed in the previous arcs, with the anime slowly and steadily reaching its conclusion. But I don’t think this will be the last arc, though it might be possible.
Well, at last all I have to say is that I’m totally excited for the action that will be in upcoming episode. With an totally amazing storyline.
