The Rising of the Shield Hero 2 Anime Season Delayed to Next April | Animeology

Season second of The Rising of the Shield Hero was originally planned to be aired in October this year.
On the official website of The Rising of the Shield Hero 2, an announcement regarding the second season of The Rising of the Shield Hero’s premiere date was made.

As anime was initially planned to be aired this October, but now is delayed to April 2022. And like the previous season, Crunchyroll will stream the anime worldwide.

Masato Kinbo is directing the second season replacing Takao Abo. Masato Kinbo has also directed anime such as Chaos; Child, Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya 2wei Herz!. And the man who is handling the series composition is non-other than Keigo Koyanagi who also handles the series composition of Regalia: The Three Sacred Stars. Kevin Penkin is composing the music once again as well as the original character design for animation is adapted by Masahiro Suwa.
In 2019, Crunchyroll officials announced that The Rising of the Shield Hero will get second and third seasons.
