Look for some of the best anime in 2022, then I got you. I’m preparing a list just for you. I hope you like it. And what I mean by preparing is that I will keep on updating this list as new anime that are worth watching are released. So, bookmark this page because I will suggest some good animes that you should not miss if you are a hardcore weeb.

Before we get to the list I would like to take a few moments of your time.

Well as of now I will be including just those anime that performed exceptionally well in the year 2021 or the anime which are still going on and are must-watch anime. And as new anime will be released in the year 2022. I will update the list.

Kimetsu No Yaiba: Yuukaku-hen (8.61)

This is the second season of the anime Kimetsu No Yaiba and is in continuation after the Movie Kimtesu No Yaiba: Mugen Train. The story centers around Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inosuke, who are with Tengen Uzuine of the Hashira( Pillars) and they are traveling to Yoshiwara red-light district to hunt down one of the upper Moon Demon that is hiding in the area and is terrorizing the whole town.

Saihate no Paladin(7.12)

The protagonist ‘Will’ is brought into a new world after living a life of stagnancy. And as he awakes he finds in a situation where he has to face a skeleton, a ghost, and a mummy.
Later as they are living in the ruin of a city that has fallen long ago. These 3 raise Will as their own. They all teach him things that they excel at.

Skeleton( Blood)- Trains him and teaches him how to fight, Gus the Ghost- Teach him about magic and everything about Magic, and the Mummy whose name is Mary teaches him about religion and all the responsibilities that he will have in the future.

And one thing that the 3 of them taught Will is love and its importance in life. And for him, this journey is about a lifelong promise. At a certain age, every child is required to swear an oath to the one God whom they choose. And the amount of god blessing depends upon the once pledge strength.

And as the day of his departure is getting closer. He must make himself believe and accept the truth of his undead guardians and set out into a world that they also don’t know about. And Will soon discovers that the oath that has been made to God must be completed one way or the other.

Tokyo Revengers(8.24)

The story of Tokyo Revengers revolves around Takemichi Hanagaki. The Second-year of his middle school was the period he was most happy and had everything one middle schooler can ask for. He had respect, a group of friends whom he could count on, and a beautiful girlfriend who loved him unconditionally. But this was all 12 years ago.

At present he is no one, his life took a drastic and downturn when he and his friend were badly beaten and humiliated after that they lost their spirit to fight and became submissive in nature. And as time passed by he started to lose everything he had friends, respect, and even his girlfriend. And now all of sudden he discovers that his ex-girlfriend has died in a gang fight between Tokyo Manji and another prominent gang.

Now one certain day he drifted back in time where he found himself in his 12-year-old body. He was given a chance to change everything and get back what he had back then. But can he do that as his mind is of that defeated boy who lost his everything? Can he do it? You have to find it yourself.

Shin no Nakama ja Nai to Yuusha no Party wo Oidasareta node, Henkyou de Slow Life Suru Koto ni Shimashita (7.03)

If you love to watch anime based on Adventure, guild, and ranking up then this anime is for but the problem is it is very slow as its name suggests. The story follows Red who lives far away from the war between demons and the hero, in a village named Zoltan. He lives a normal life as a D-rank player and a medic of the village.

Through his hard work and his nature to help others made his dream come true of owning an apothecary and living a normal and peaceful life in the countryside. And as the story moves forward Red finds a live-in partner whom he used to know in the past. Rit is the name of the person and she was the princess of the Duchy Loggervia and was an adventurer herself. She gave up on everything just to live with him.

But this kind and helpful man has a secret that only Rit knows about, that is he was an adventurer in the past and that also from the main party of the heroes who used to fight demons in the frontier. But was kicked out from the party by the Sage of the team because he thought that he was a burden on his sister, the party leader, and the fighter as well as on the whole team.
But he left his past behind but did his past leave him to check out the anime to find out.

Komi-san wa, Comyushou desu(8.30)

The story of the anime follows a girl named Shouko Komi. And on her first day in the Itan High School, she was given the title of Madonna. She was a beautiful girl with a graceful appearance, long black hair, and tall height. She had everything to capture the attention of anyone who came across her.

But there is a problem despite being beautiful and being popular in the school. She is terrible at communication.
Now we shift your story to Hirohito Tadano who is a normal average high schoolboy. And he has a quite simple yet brilliant principle “ read the situation and make sure to stay away from trouble,” the luck was on his side and he quickly found a place beside Shouko, and due to which he made enemies with everyone else.
One certain day he was somehow knocked out and when he gained his consciousness back by the voice of Meow.

Mushoku Tensei: Isekai Ittara Honki Dasu (8.80)

After a successful first season, Mushoku Tensei is back with its second season. The story centers around Rudeus Greyrat who with his disciple Eris Boreas Greyrat were teleported to the Demon Continent after a mysterious mana calamity.

And there they met with Ruijerd Supardia who is currently helping them to reach their homeland safely. This trio during their journey back to Fittoa form an adventuring party and made quite a name for themselves.

And during their journey, Rudeus is advised by a faceless god Hitogami( who bought Rudes from another world to this world) to save the King, Kishirika Kishirisu who is the Great Emperor of the Demon World, and as a reward, he gave him Rudeus strange power. After mastering this new power he sees more opportunities that would make their journey a bit easier.

Ousama Ranking(8.86)

The citizens of a Kingdom look down on their young Prince Bojji, who can neither speak nor hear. They often refer to him as “ The Useless Prince” and other than that they often make insulting remarks about him.

Though he might not be strong physically, he has strong willpower, mind, and heart. It can be seen when he encounters a shadow creature if seen by anyone else would have left him traumatized, but instead of getting traumatized, he makes him believe that he has found a friend. And soon he started meeting with Kage, the shadow, he started to meet him regularly and their friends got to that extent that the abrasive creature started to get along with him.

Their friendship lay down the foundation of the prince’s journey, a journey where he can face and win against his fears and insecurities.
Despite constant ridicule from everyone, he stands on his resolve and tries to become the best King he can be.

Sekai Saikou no Ansatsusha, Isekai Kizoku ni Tensei suru(7.49)

The world’s greatest assassin raised by an organization has sworn his loyalty to the organization. And has lived up to his words till his retirement. Despite the loyalty and work he has done for the organization all his life, the very same organization turns against him and assassinates him on his last mission.

And on his deathbed, his life flashes in front of his eye, and frustrated from the last moment he closes the next thing he sees is he in front of a goddess who gives him a chance to live his life once again but as an assassin and has to save the world from a hero who will turn evil after he defeats demon lord and his mission is to assassinate him. Will he succeed in his mission and how will he live his second life as Lugh Tuatha Dé, a child of a family of assassins who work for the King from the shadows. With the goddess helping him by giving him various skills and magic can he defeat the Hero.

Senpai ga Uzai Kouhai no Hanashi(7.77)

This is the story of a saleswoman Futaba Igarashi who somehow managed to hold on to her job working in a certain trading company. It’s been almost 2 years since she joined the company and was able to stay there because of her senior coworker who guided her from time to time. The name of the senior is Harumi Takeda, he often teases Igarashi due to her short stature.

Jujutsu Kaisen(8.71)

Still, even though he teases her he is the one who will help him whenever she needs help he is there for her. And as time passes by and they spend more time with each other their relationship develops more than just a coworker.

The protagonist of this anime is Yuj Itadori who with his club members indulge in baseless paranormal activities and apart from this he spends his days at either the clubroom or the hospital, where his bedridden grandfather is.’But his life takes a sharp turn and this carless life of his is suddenly comes to end with his grandfather died, he and his club member indulge themself in a paranormal that they should not have indulged in.

They have come in contact with the most dangerous and feared curse which took forever to defeat, Sukuna Ryoumen, the “King of Curses.” Who even after splitting in the many different start possesses such power that one who rates the body part he possesses him/her.

And this event triggers a chain reaction and when will this stop no one knows. Find out for yourself by watching this awesome anime.

Platinum End(6.65)

And the name of this angle is Nasse, while convincing him to live his life once again angle offers him 2 priceless abilities.

And as he learns about his newly gained power he for the first time in his life experiences the freedom which was taken away from him a long time back. Along with the angel’s ability, Mirai is flung into a showdown where he finds 12 other people, and one of them will be the next God. Mieruko-chan(7.53)

Are you into the horror genre? If your answer is Yes then this anime might be for you. This is the story of Miko Yotsuya who is so obsessed with her mobile that even her eyes started pouring water she still glued her eyes on the screen. Now all of sudden she hears a voice out of nowhere and it said- “ Can you see me?” To date, Miko used to enjoy high school life, with late-night horror shows which were only meant for entertainment purposes.

But now after that event, she is the only human being who is aware of monsters living with humans among themselves freely.

She gathers some courage and makes a bold decision with a fully conscious mind that she will never ever acknowledge the presence of the horrid specters. But even if she will not acknowledge them she can see them and even see what they are doing and how they influence other people’s life. Especially how they disturb her best friend’s life. She is an energetic and lovely human. Her name is Hana Yurikawa.

JoJo no Kimyou na Bouken Part 6: Stone Ocean(8.23)

Next on the list of Best Anime To Watch 2022 is Jo-Jo: Stone Ocean. Jo Jo is one of the finest series ever made I would say. This is the Sixth Part of the series. And the full name of the series is JoJo no Kimyou na Bouken: Stone Ocean.

The story goes like this: In the year 2011 in Florida, Jolyne Kuujou is sitting with just his father Joutarou in a jail cell. She was framed for a crime she never committed and even her prison sentence was manipulated to a longer duration. Jolyne is ready to lose hope and resign to dire fate as a prisoner of Green Dolphin Street Jail. But a gift from Joutarou ends up awakening her abilities, which manifested into her Stand, Stone Free. Now she has her fate in her hand to break free the Stone Ocean that binds her.

But soon she discovers that her incarceration is just a small portion of a large plot. So what is this plot and what is waiting for her in near future? Check out the anime to find out.

Tsuki ga Michibiku Isekai Douchuu(7.74)

Due to a contract between his parents and the goddess, Makoto Misumi finds himself teleported to another world to meet this goddess and become a Hero of this other world. But the goddess has other plans for him. She refused to see him and even revoke his heroic title.

She gave him the ability to understand every language the creature speaks except the language humans speak as a compensator for the ability he gained, and to add even more pain to the life she drives him off far far away from the human settlement into a wasteland.

And because of the disparity between Earth and this new world, Makoto soon awakened his inherent physical and magical capabilities, which made him extremely powerful. And on his journey, he meets with various creatures one of them were demihumans. He also meets mythical beings and they all end up being captivated with his characteristics and join Makoto who is building a community where everyone can peacefully coexist.

Now he has everything he still has a wish to meet and interact with fellow humans. Though the goddess has barred him from interacting with humans. It is all up to Makoto and his fellow companion to make his dream come true.

So, the question is that will he make it? Will his dream come true and if yes then how will they make it happen.

Scarlet Nexus(5.67)

The next anime on the list of Best Anime To Watch 2022 is Scarlet Nexus. I had high hopes for this anime when I first heard about it but well it happens. Every time things don’t turn out the way you want them to be.

The story of the anime takes place in the year 2020, on an imaginary planet where the concept of coronavirus is not present. But humanity faces another threat: a threat of mysterious monsters. These monsters fall from the sky and feed on human brains. These Monsters are termed as “Other” by people.

But at the same time some people gain extrasensory abilities that are effective against the Others, these are Hormones released by the human body and are called psionics. And soon the Other Suppression Force (OSF) was established whose main objective is to combat these monsters and save humanity. They are also commonly referred to as the Scarlet Guardians, and young individuals with these hormones undergo intensive training to join this group.

The protagonist of this anime is Yuito Sumeragi, who is part of an exceptional group of recruits. This group has completed the grueling training to become Scarlet Guardians and the nation has prepared an induction ceremony for them.

At the age of 5, Yuito Sumeragi was rescued by a woman from OSF. Now he wants to repay the debt and therefore joins the organization. And is determined to put his abilities and training into good use. So how will put his abilities to use and what the future holds for these new recruits check out the anime?

Soul Land(7.87)

One thing I’m sure of is that it has one of the best animations and it is based on a Chinese novel named Douluo Dalu

The story follows Tang San who is a martial artist from Tang Sec. He is considered the most prestigious disciple and peerless in terms of the use of hidden weapons. Everyone in the sect believes in his bright future but he throws away everything for the sect’s forbidden lore and after obtaining the secret he commits suicide.

And after his death, he is reincarnated into another world where the use of martial art and cultivation is prominent. In this continent of Douluo strong prevail and weak perish. Tang san is now born into a family of blacksmiths and his family consists of only his father. At the age of six, he takes the test of Spirit Master and soon discovers that he has a Blue Silver Grass which is considered the weakest and most useless spirit out there.

So, as he is slowly growing with his knowledge of his previous life. What will he do? What are the mysteries that will unfold in the future? Follow this anime to find out.

I follow this anime and I consider it as one of the Best Anime To Watch 2022.

Now, let’s check out some anime that are all-time famous, and whichsoever year it is these are the anime that one should watch.

Naruto(7.96)

The first part of the Naruto Series and the anime begins with the moments before the birth of the Uzumaki Naruto.

A huge demon is known as Kyuubi, the Nine-Tailed Fox, attacked the village of Hidden Leaf. And is on a rampage destroying everything that stands in front of him.

And in order to end this Havoc, the fourth Hokage stands and deals with this monster. And during his fight, he loses his life and seals this beast into a just-born baby Naruto.

Now the story shifts towards the life of Naruto who is living a miserable life as others bad mouths him and ill-treat him due to the fact that nine-Tail is sealed inside him. But he doesn’t turn evil and makes a decision to become the Hokage of the Village one day. Join Naruto on his journey to becoming one of the greatest Hokage of the village and see how he turns everyone’s hatred into love as time passes by.

Take my words you will love this anime. And you will thank me later if you are new to the anime world.

Naruto Shippuden(8.23)

The Second Part of the Season of Naruto franchise is one of the highest-rated anime and has one the most epic anime characters with overpowering ability. You will know what I’m saying when you watch it.

The story is in continuation after Naruto who has left the village Konohagakure, the Hidden Leaf Village for more than 2 years has returned after completing intense training.

And he has grown stronger and a new threat has emerged in front of the Ninja World. A group called Akatsuki has emerged. This group is a mysterious group and the members are unknown to everyone.

So who are these members of Akatsuki and what is their objective? And will achieve his dream of becoming the Hokage.

One Piece(8.62)

The beginning of this legendary anime began in 1997 when Eiichiro ODA released its manga for the first time. It is one of the oldest anime which is still in production. This anime is totally on a different level than other anime. It has its own world. Anime has more than 1000+ episodes and its ending is far from being completed.

The story of One Piece goes like this – Gol D. Roger who is known as the King Of The Pirates. Has been captured and is publicly executed. But before his death his last words created an uproar all over the world of One Piece. He said my treasure, the ultimate treasure, is out there. If you find it you have it. So begin the new age of pirates. Every pirate started their journey on finding this treasure “One Piece” so that he/she could become the next Pirate King. It is said that this treasure gives the welder everything he possibly could think of richness fame and whatnot.

Now the story shifted toward Monkey D Luffy who is a young boy of 17 years having a dream to become the Pirate King. And so he is on a journey to gather his 10 Nakamas or crew members and find this treasure. The first crew member that he recruits is an infamous pirate hunter named Roronoa Zora and so their journey begins. Join them on their adventure. Tell me your views about this anime if you have already watched it.

Bleach(7.83)

The protagonist of the anime Kurosaki Ichigo was an ordinary high schooler till the day his family was attacked by a Hollow, Hollow are corrupt spirits that seek to devour the human soul.
After this incident, he met with a Soul Reaper named Kuchiki Rukiya, who gets injured while trying to protect Ichigo’s family. And as she is injured she can’t fight but she has to save Ichigo’s family so she offers her power to Ichigo and he accepts her power and thus becomes a Soul Reaper.

Now due to some reason, Rukia can’t get back her power, and now it is upon Ichigo to fight against Hollows that are creating havoc in the city. Later as he moves forward his friends also gain some power and join in the action. Each of his friends has their unique ability. And thus they assist Ichigo in their own way to overcome the obstacle.

HunterxHunter(9.05)

This anime has the highest rating which an anime has on this list till now. It is a kind of dark anime like Berserk. It makes me feel like that, so I’m saying you might have a different opinion. As the name suggests Hunter x Hunter in this world everything is done by Hunter be it catching criminals, capturing animals, searching for lost treasure every kind of work is done by these Hunters. How hard be the work there is for a Hunter that will do it for you.

The anime follows Gon who is the son of the most famous Hunter Gin. Gon is 12 years and wants to become a Hunter just like his father. And soon Gon realizes that the path for achieving his dream is hard and will have many challenges that he can’t even imagine.

In his journey of becoming a Hunter, he makes a new friend Killua( who will become his best friend in the future) he is from a family of assassins other than him he made friends with Leorio, vengeful Kurapika. And with their dreams in their mind, they take the Hunter exam together. So will they achieve their goal? And if they do then what are the challenges that they will face as a hunter and what mission will they be assigned. Find out by yourself by watching this Best Anime To Watch 2022.

Black Clover(8.09)

Black Clover is considered as one of the Big 3 of the New Generation. And in my opinion, that statement is true.

The story of Black Clover follows Asta who is an orphan and has grown up in a church with his best friend Yuno. Raised together as they used to admire the” Wizard King” and dream to become the wizard king one day. But as they grew up Yuno was blessed with magic while Asta didn’t even have any magic. And he desperately tries to awaken his ability and train his physical body in hope of awakening his ability.

By the age of 15, Yuno received a spectacular Grimoire with a four-leaf clover, which was a magic that was wielded by the first wizard king; on the other hand, Asta didn’t even receive a Grimoire.

And one certain during a death fight Asta discovers his power is Anti-Magic which has a five-leaf flower on it. So begin their journey to become the next wizard king. So who will he make it to the top first? But first of all, will they even be selected as Magic Knight which is the very first step toward their goal.

The animation of the anime is the best. The action scenes are just amazing. And the last part is that it is a TV series.

Boruto(6.94)

If you are a Naruto Fan or want to know the story of Naruto after his marriage then this is for you. In the third series of Naruto the protagonist of the anime, is Boruto, son of Uzumaki Naruto.

The anime begins with Naruto fulfilling his dream of becoming a Hokage. And is considered the strongest Ninja alive and the only person who comes near to him or matched him is Sasuke, his childhood friend, and his best friend.

Naruto and his peers live in a peaceful world that every shinobi dreamed of till now. Naruto works hard to uphold an international truce built.

Join this journey of Boruto who is having some problems with his father. And how our hero solves this family problem. And how will Boruto deal with the upcoming future problem and will the prophecy come true that was made at the beginning of the series. I hope I have not checked out the anime to find out what the prophecy was.

Getsuyoubi no Tawawa 2 (6.65)

Wotaku ni Koi wa Muzukashii: Youth (7.95)

Well, have you ever slept through your alarm, if Yes then the same thing happened with Narumi Momose the protagonist of the anime? She was late for her first day of work at the new office. And as she was trying hard to catch her train she promised one thing to herself that she will never allow any of her coworkers to find out that she is an otaku and a fujoshi. If you don’t know what that means you have to google it. Her plan instantly gets destroyed when she runs into Hirotaka Nifuji, who was an old friend of hers from middle school.

She tries to cover it up by asking him out later in the evening but she got busted as he casually asked her whether or not she will be attending the upcoming Summer Comiket. And by luck the only witnesses Hanako Koyanagi and Tarou Kabakura—are otaku as well.
