Kaiju No. 8

On Monday Shueisha announced  that Kaiju No. 8 by Naoya Matsumoto manga has surpassed 3 million copies in circulation  which includes printing and digital copies, this point is to noted that not all the copies are sold. This series is the fastest Shonen Jump+ manga (as opposed to manga running in Shueisha’s print magazines) to reach this milestone. This is a great achievement for Kaiju No. 8. 

Matsumoto shared a handwritten message and commemorative illustration personally thanking all the readers.

Manga was release by Matsumoto in July 2020 on Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ website. And from there onward demand for manga kept on increasing is still growing.

Manga reached the milestone of one million copies in print on March 4. As soon as new chapter launches, the manga trends on Twitter and receives more than 1.5 million views during its release week. Just After the debute of 25th chapter, the manga crossed 70 million views on February 8 — and is said to be fastest  manga to reached this milestone on the Shonen Jump+ service. And on June 4 i.e on the launch of  third volume launched, the manga reached over 2.5 million copies in print.

Manga was licenced by Viz Media. The company releases chapters digitally, and first volume will released set to release this fall. Shueisha publishes the manga on its MANGA Plus service under the title Monster #8.

The series was nominated for the 14th Manga Taisho Awards in January.

And story can be described as this a man who becomes a monster after certain incident, and his aim is to become fighter who can fight against monster alongside her friend, what will happen when people finds he is monster….

This is short summary of the manga and it is preety much unique, and action scene are just as amazing as story itself.
