Jujutsu Kaisen

According to, Gege Akutami Manga will take a break and it will be a month-long.

On Friday, On the official Twitter account for Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine, they announced that the manga of Gege Akutami will continue after a break in this year’s 35th issue, which will be out on 2 August. As the manga went on a break after the 29th issue on 21 June because of the poor health of the writer that is Akutami.

While telling about the hiatus of the manga Akutami also assured fans that the health condition is nothing serious.

English Publisher of the “Jujutsu Kaisen” Viz Media  describes the story:

In an imaginary world where demons feed on humans, figures of the legendary and most ruthless demon Ryoma Sukuna were scattered around the world. And if in any case, other demons consume Sukuna’s fingers, the power that he can gain could destroy the world. But to fight against these demons,s fortunately, there exists a school especially for Jujutsu Sorcerers who fight against these demons to protect humans.

And the main character of this story is Yuji Itadori who is a normal high schooler who was living a normal life and used to visit his bedridden grandfather. He just looks like a normal high schooler until and unless he displays his inhuman physical strength. And because of this, every club of school wants to recruit him. But he chooses the Occult club and this is where the story begins…

The manga was first launched in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in March 2018. And has over 50 million copies in circulation worldwide. The 16th Volume of the manga was published by Shueisha on June 4.

The anime of Jujutsu Kaisen was premiered on 2nd October 2020, and it had 24 episodes in total. I have to say this, as soon as anime was released it became one of the most popular anime out there. Jujutsu Kaisen 0 the Movie or Gekijō-ban Jujutsu Kaisen 0, an anime movie will be released in winter this year.
