The announcement regarding the second season was revealed on AbemaTV during the Seikan Kinen Zadan-kai: Gekitou wo Furikaette (Survivor Memorial Roundtable: Reliving the Fierce Battle) special program for Youjo Senki (Saga of Tanya the Evil).
Story of anime goes like this-
Youjo SenkiYoujo Senki is anime whose protagonist is a young girl who fights on the frontlines in war. Her name is “Tanya Degurechaff”.Her dream is to become most dangerous entity among the Imperial Army’s sorcerers. And she used to be one of Japan’s elite office workers, but because of a wrathful god, was reborn as a little girl.

Youjo Senki adapts Carlo Zen’s military-themed action fantasy light novel, which they originally began penning on the novel publishing website Arcadia in 2011.
Chika Toujou originally started writing Youjo Senki novel from 2012 and finished it in 2013.
And it’s light novel is also written by Chika Toujou and illustrated by Shinobu Shinotsuki. And has total of 12 Volume and with novel still on the run.
Youjo Senki also has a manga adaptation which was first published on April 26, 2016 and is still on the run. Which is written by same writter Carlo Zen and has 21 Volume and new chapter are published regularly.
Anime Series of Youjo Senki has total of 12-episode by animation studio Nut aired in Winter 2017.
A sequel anime film opened in Japan in February 2019, grossing over 420 million yen (approximately US$ 3.8 million).
Both light novel and manga adaptation are licensed by Yen Press.
